Quick answer
The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 (CAR 2012) consolidated earlier UK asbestos law. Its core is Regulation 4 (duty to manage on non-domestic premises), supported by rules on surveys, licensing, notifiable non-licensed work (NNLW), training, control of exposure, medical surveillance and record-keeping.
