Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
Elements Surveying Group is committed to making asbestossurveyingandtesting.com accessible to all users, regardless of ability or assistive technology used.
Standards we follow
This website is designed to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. We test with a combination of automated tooling, keyboard-only navigation and screen reader spot-checks.
What we've done
- Semantic headings and landmarks throughout (one H1 per page, proper outline).
- Visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
- Colour contrast meeting AA on body text and UI controls.
- Descriptive alternative text on every photograph in the identification gallery.
- Form fields with associated labels and accessible error messaging.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, dialogs and search.
- Responsive layouts that reflow without horizontal scrolling down to 320 px.
- Respect for the user's reduced-motion preferences.
Known limitations
We're aware of the following items being actively worked on:
- Survey photographs in the gallery lightbox do not yet support pinch-to-zoom on touch devices.
- Some embedded PDF resources may not yet meet AA tagging requirements; accessible alternatives are available on request.
If you encounter content that isn't accessible to you, please contact us — we'll prioritise a fix or supply the information in another format.
