Refurbishment Survey
Intrusive survey before refurbishment works. From £300 + VAT for flats and £400 + VAT for houses.
Demolition Survey
Fully intrusive survey before demolition. From £500 + VAT for houses up to four bedrooms.
Bulk Sampling
First sample £60 + VAT, each additional sample taken during the same visit £30 + VAT.

Guide prices start from £160 + VAT for a flat communal-area management survey (up to 3 floors), £200 + VAT for a management survey of a flat up to 3 bedrooms and £250 + VAT for a house up to 4 bedrooms. Refurbishment surveys start from £300 + VAT for flats and £400 + VAT for houses, and demolition surveys from £500 + VAT for houses.
How much does asbestos testing cost?+
The first asbestos sample is £60 + VAT and each additional sample taken during the same visit is £30 + VAT, including laboratory analysis.
Are these prices fixed?+
No — they are indicative guide prices. The final price depends on the size, age, construction, location, accessibility and complexity of the property, the scope of the proposed works and the number of samples required. We confirm the price with you before the survey proceeds.
What's the difference between a management survey and a refurbishment survey?+
A management survey identifies asbestos-containing materials that could be disturbed during normal occupation. A refurbishment or demolition survey is fully intrusive and is required before any works that disturb the fabric of the building.
What isn't covered by the guide prices?+
Commercial premises, larger houses and flats, and multi-building portfolios are quoted individually. Air monitoring, four-stage clearance testing and asbestos removal are not services we provide.
