Elements Surveying Group Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is the data controller for personal data collected through www.asbestossurveyingandtesting.com. Our registered office is 167–169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit through our enquiry form (name, organisation, email, phone).
- Information you provide about your property or project.
- Basic technical data (IP address, browser, pages viewed) collected by analytics where enabled.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation.
- To deliver surveying, sampling or consultancy services you have engaged.
- To meet our legal, regulatory and insurance obligations.
- To improve our website and service quality.
Legal basis
We process personal data on the basis of legitimate interests (responding to enquiries), contract (delivering instructed work), and legal obligation (record-keeping under HSE / CAR 2012 requirements).
How long we keep it
Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months. Survey records and asbestos registers are retained for a minimum of 40 years in line with HSE guidance.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with UKAS-accredited laboratories where sampling analysis is required, and with regulators where required by law.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these, email enquires@asbestossurveyingandtesting.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
