Elements Surveying Group is an independent asbestos surveying consultancy. We are not a UKAS-accredited inspection body and we do not operate our own laboratory — bulk sample analysis is carried out by an independent UKAS-accredited (ISO/IEC 17025) laboratory partner, which is named on every analysis certificate. Everything listed below is either a credential we hold or a standard we work to; certificates are available to clients on request.
In the UK, asbestos work is governed by the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and HSE guidance documents HSG264 (surveying) and HSG248 (analysts' guide). Our surveys follow HSG264 methodology and are carried out by BOHS P402-qualified surveyors, with sample analysis by a UKAS-accredited laboratory — so the evidence behind your duty-holder obligations stands up to HSE scrutiny and insurer review.

Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
All asbestos surveying and sampling work is carried out in strict accordance with current Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance, including HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide and the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012. Our surveying methodology follows recognised industry best practice to deliver accurate, compliant and reliable asbestos inspections.
