Independent asbestos surveying and testing — no asbestos removal sales

We survey and advise in Enfield — we do not sell the removal work.

Elements Surveying Group specialises in asbestos surveying, sampling and independent advice. We do not sell asbestos removal services, so our survey recommendations remain focused on the condition, risk and appropriate management of the material identified.

Where removal or remedial work is genuinely required, we explain what that normally involves and what a licensed contractor would need — then leave you free to appoint whoever you choose.

Why Enfield clients choose us

Independent asbestos surveys for Enfield.

Enfield spans Edwardian and inter-war suburban housing through Palmers Green, Winchmore Hill and Southgate, large post-war estates at Edmonton and Ponders End, and the Lee Valley industrial corridor with its older factory and warehouse stock. Meridian Water regeneration and a steady flow of HMO and conversion work keep refurbishment and demolition surveys in regular demand.

Enfield FAQs

Questions Enfield clients ask us most.

How much does an asbestos survey in Enfield cost?

Published Management Survey prices start at £225 + VAT for communal areas serving one or two floors, £250 + VAT for a studio or one-bedroom flat and £300 + VAT for a one- or two-bedroom house. Whole-property Refurbishment Survey prices start at £350 + VAT for a flat and £400 + VAT for a house. Larger properties, commercial premises and portfolios receive an individually fixed quotation before booking.

Can you take samples in Enfield without a full survey?

Targeted sampling is £85 + VAT for one sample, £115 for two, £145 for three, £175 for four, £205 for five and £235 for six; each further sample during the same attendance is £30 + VAT. Sampling covers specific materials only — it is not a full survey. If building work is planned, a refurbishment and demolition survey scoped to those works is the correct instruction.

Who analyses the samples?

Samples are analysed in a UKAS-accredited laboratory to ISO/IEC 17025. Elements Surveying Group is a surveying consultancy — we do not operate the laboratory, and we do not sell asbestos removal, so nothing in a report is written to win removal work.

Can you collect keys for a Enfield property?

Yes. Where it is arranged beforehand our surveyor can collect keys from an agent, carry out the survey and return them afterwards, so you do not need to attend. Evening and weekend appointments are offered where surveyor schedules allow.

How quickly is the report issued?

Reports are normally issued within 48–72 hours of the survey visit, once laboratory analysis is complete, and are guaranteed within 72 hours where that has been agreed at quotation.

Do you sell asbestos removal?

No. Elements Surveying Group carries out asbestos surveying, inspection and bulk sampling only. Because we do not sell removal, our reports set out what is present, its condition and the proportionate options — including leaving material in place and managing it under a register.

Do you survey industrial units in the Lee Valley?

Yes. Older industrial and warehouse premises along the Lee Valley frequently contain asbestos cement cladding and roof sheets, insulating board linings and textured coatings. Surveys are scoped to the works or to the duty to manage, whichever applies.

Enfield is one of the London boroughs we cover. See our asbestos surveying service across London.
