Asbestos Surveys in HA1 Harrow

Asbestos surveys in HA1: local buildings

Harrow has town-centre offices and shops, Victorian housing on the Hill and inter-war suburbs.

Homeowners, buyers, landlords, managing agents, businesses and contractors in HA1 instruct us when they need to know what asbestos is present before works, during a sale, or to meet the duty to manage in communal and commercial areas. Our report records each material, its condition and the proportionate next step — including leaving material in place and managing it.

Which asbestos survey do you need in HA1?

Management asbestos survey — for HA1 buildings in normal use, including shops, offices and the communal areas of flats. Produces an asbestos register with material and priority risk scores.

Refurbishment and demolition (R&D) survey — required before refurbishment, extensions, fit-outs or demolition in Harrow and the rest of HA1. Intrusive within the agreed scope so contractors can plan safely.

Asbestos testing and sampling — where one or two materials are in question, a BOHS P402 surveyor samples them and a UKAS-accredited laboratory analyses them: £85 + VAT for the first sample, £30 + VAT for each additional sample on the same visit.
