Asbestos Surveys in E4 Chingford

Asbestos surveys in E4: local buildings

Chingford is suburban, with inter-war semis, post-war houses and bungalows and Edwardian terraces around Highams Park.

Homeowners, buyers, landlords, managing agents, businesses and contractors in E4 instruct us when they need to know what asbestos is present before works, during a sale, or to meet the duty to manage in communal and commercial areas. Our report records each material, its condition and the proportionate next step — including leaving material in place and managing it.

Which asbestos survey do you need in E4?

Management asbestos survey — for E4 buildings in normal use, including shops, offices and the communal areas of flats. Produces an asbestos register with material and priority risk scores.

Refurbishment and demolition (R&D) survey — required before refurbishment, extensions, fit-outs or demolition in Chingford and the rest of E4. Intrusive within the agreed scope so contractors can plan safely.

Asbestos testing and sampling — where one or two materials are in question, a BOHS P402 surveyor samples them and a UKAS-accredited laboratory analyses them: £85 + VAT for the first sample, £30 + VAT for each additional sample on the same visit.
